Hello, A fold-away tabletop that both closes flat without visible gaps and stays perfectly level when opened is a genuinely tricky combination: the whole thing lives or dies on the hinge kinematics, not on the drawing itself. That is where I would put the care. Before anything, three points would help me picture it correctly: 1. What are the target open dimensions, and the maximum footprint once folded? 2. Is this a wall-mounted drop-leaf, a folding-leg design, or a top that rests on an existing support? And what load will it see (laptop, meals, workbench use)? 3. For the files, would STEP plus dimensioned DXF and PDF suit your local sourcing, or do you specifically need a native SolidWorks or DWG format?
