An engineer who will research, explain, and design a Y-Drop-style liquid-fertiliser system (can be a straightforward EZ-Drops) for my old sprayer. Aim: place fertiliser 5 cm from the corn stalk, rows at 75 cm spacing, with a simple, rugged setup that a local metal shop can build and that can stay on the machine full-time. 1. Study commercial Y-Drop / EZ-Drops systems and summarise the key working principles. 2. Evaluate how to bolt the concept onto an older boom sprayer 3. Recommend the best, fabrication-friendly approach (materials, hose fittings, clamp style, swing/bungee mechanism, flow-restrictor placement). 4. Deliver: CAD (STEP/STL) + basic fabrication drawings (only what’s really needed). Agricultural-machinery know-how (sprayers, row-crop fertiliser).
