A new line of rugby shoulder pads needs a complete, manufacturing-ready design package. The goal is maximum durability and protection, yet every panel must stay within the 10 mm thickness limit so the pads comply with current World Rugby guidelines. I have chosen gel inserts as the impact-absorbing layer, so the construction and pattern work should centre on that material choice rather than traditional foam or hard plastic. What I need produced: • Fully dimensioned 2D drawings that a factory can cut directly from. • 3D CAD files (STEP or IGES) showing internal gel geometry, shell contours and seam placement. I’ll supply reference photos of current market pads and body measurements once we kick off. The design is considered finished when the files above import cleanly into a manufacturer’s system and the thickness constraint is verified across every size.
