Job Description:
I run a 3D printing design consultancy and have a large, constant stream of 3D modeling work required to be done. There are a lot of custom props from video games, TV shows and movies that I need based on photographs, repairs to 3D files such as architecture where the entire building needs to be solid and sculpting things like cars and shoes for the more advanced work. The majority of jobs are simple props for things like costumes. If you are interested and have the freedom to take on a lot of jobs on a regular basis, I can provide a lot of work for you. I am looking for a long-term partnership here to last many years into the future.
Knowledge of modeling for 3D printing is absolutely critical. You must understand the concepts of manifold/watertight, intersecting meshes, minimum wall thicknesses and be able to export in STL/OBJ.
Use of Zbrush/Blender is required. If you are only proficient in one of those that is fine, both is extremely valuable to me.
This is fairly advanced modeling, so I expect at least 2 years experience as a full time 3D modeler.
