I’m looking for a detailed stress assessment of a PVC pipe that forms part of an indoor hydroponic system. The pipe carries only water, yet it must tolerate the usual pressure fluctuations of a small recirculating setup and the daily temperature swings inside a greenhouse environment. Both thermal and mechanical aspects have to be covered. I need to understand how the pipe behaves under internal water pressure, its own weight once mounted on supports, and when exposed to temperature changes produced by lighting cycles or seasonal shifts. Please model the pipe, run the calculations—hand, FEA, or a mix of both—and present: • a concise write-up explaining assumptions, standards, and safety factors • stress and deformation plots (mechanical) • temperature-induced stress results (thermal) • any recommendations on wall thickness, support spacing, or operating limits Native-format files of the analysis (SolidWorks, ANSYS, Abaqus, or a comparable tool) together with a PDF summary are expected so I can keep them for future audits. If something critical is missing—exact pressure, temperature range, mounting geometry—flag it early so I can supply the numbers before you begin.
