I have an existing AutoCAD design for a product prototype that simply needs to be taken the last mile: generating a clean, watertight STL file suitable for 3-D printing. The geometry is moderate in complexity—medium detail is all that’s required—so this should be a concise task for someone fluent in AutoCAD’s 3-D workspace (or compatible tools such as Fusion 360). Here’s what you’ll do immediately after I share the DWG: • Open/verify the model, extrude or stitch as needed so every solid is closed. • Export to STL using the correct units (millimetres). • Perform a quick mesh check for non-manifold edges or inverted normals. • Return the finished STL plus a brief note confirming it passed your check. I expect the conversion itself to take no more than half an hour once you have the file, so please be ready for a quick turnaround.
