My company wants to find a developer or development team that can help us with early stage design and prototype work of a mobile app using Xamarin.Forms. The initial work is to help evaluate [url removed, login to view] as a technology, then to develop the skeleton of an app as far as basic functions like authentication and REST API. This will help us determine if Xamarin is the right choice and how easily we can find good resources / people in that technology.
Highly experienced individuals (true freelance model) as well as development firms should respond to this posting.
I am looking for an experienced, preferably senior developer with demonstrable experience in Xamarin.Forms to help me build a cross platform mobile application. Individuals and development firms may respond, quoting your default hourly rate as transparently as possible.
You should be prepared to explain and demonstrate at least one pre-existing Xamarin app in Android and iOS, referencing code as necessary. This app must have, at a minimum, (a) user authentication to Facebook/Google and (b) calls to REST API's. In order to save time in the evaluation process, if you could share at least a few portfolio apps or Web sites in the initial email response, that would be helpful.
While not crucial in this early phase, it would also be helpful if the app had features related to camera management / image upload, video streaming or live video (e.g, video on demand, YouTube, Vimeo, or live), Facebook social media (photo wall), chat/messaging, WebRTC audio/video calling, and e-commerce (in-app purchases or services).
Here is outline of requirements.
1) Login View - user login through Facebook and Google;
2) landing page with four buttons (upon successful login) arranged 2 rows of 2 buttons;
3a) button 1 - upload image from camera to Amazon S3 or other cloud storage;
3b) button 2 - SQL integration - read some data from an Amazon AWS MySQL database that I have access to;
3c) button 3 - show view that has three YouTube videos that I specify,
3d) button 4 - WebView/IFRAME out to http URL I specify.
3e) On each of the 4 views above, button to return to landing page;
4) Logout action in upper right corner (return to login view)
