Redesign/improve existing customised BigCommerce store

Job Description:
We have an existing website with BigCommerce that needs a customised redesign to improve looks and functionality. We need designers/developers with extensive BigCommerce experience, both with the front end user control panel and customisation of design and functionality. The customised site must work smoothly within the BigCommerce framework, so that the site can be maintained/products added/details amended by ourselves going forward.
Design:
We need a beautiful, high end designer look, with ample empty space, limited text, focus on product images, and links to further info available on (existing) details pages. We would like to retain the existing colours, logo, fonts. We require the following changes:
1. Home page requires redesign/improvement and a smooth link through to product sales
2. Product/Shop pages - improve existing pages and develop a customised template so further products can be added by us in future
3. Add simple pages for: Media, Testimonials, Gallery, which can be easily updated
4. Restyle blog feed from separate wordpress blog
5. Any other suggestions you have for improving the look and feel of the site.
Functionality required:
1. Navigation enhanced to allow sales of several products (currently single product focus, but new products will be added soon)
2. Shopping cart to be turned on, tested, linked to local (Australian) logistics provider for deliveries.
3. Add links/buttons to social media; Facebook Shop tab, Facebook like, Pinterest button.
4. Ensure pages render for higher end browsers (iPad,iPhones, android)
5. Ensure fast upload speeds for all pages
6. Any other suggestions you have for enhanced functionality.
Candidates must provide:
1. References and examples of prior Big Commerce customizations
2. Other examples of your design work
We will provide to suitable bidders our existing site, and the list of design/functionalities needed, and give you time to review the work before we agree.
