Title: Research Assistant — Extract Paywalled Article Text into Zotero Notes (NYT, WSJ, FT, Economist, Business Insider) Description: I have a Zotero library containing approximately 300 entries from paywalled publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, The Economist, and Business Insider, and other paywall blocked journals. Each entry has a URL already saved, but the full article text is missing because these sources require subscriptions to access. I need a research assistant who can access these publications through their university library subscriptions and work through the library systematically, copying the full article text into a Zotero Note attached to each entry. The workflow is simple: Open each Zotero entry. Follow the URL. Access the full article through your university library. Copy the complete article text. Paste it as a new Note attached to that Zotero entry. Move to the next entry. Requirements — all three are mandatory: You must have active university library access to all six publications: NYT, WSJ, FT, The Economist, Bloomberg, and Business Insider. Please confirm this explicitly in your bid — list which publications your library covers. Bids that do not confirm university library access will not be considered. You must be comfortable working directly inside a shared Zotero library. I will give you access to the specific collection containing the paywall entries. You must be detail-oriented. The note should contain the full article text, cleanly copied, not truncated or paraphrased. What I am NOT looking for: This is not a scraping or coding project. No Python, no APIs, no automation tools. This is careful manual research work requiring legitimate library access. Do not bid if you are planning to use scraping tools or workarounds — I need the full licensed text, properly accessed. Deliverable: All entries in the shared Zotero collection have a Note attached containing the complete article text. A brief log noting any URLs that were inaccessible even through your library (dead links, articles removed, etc.). Ideal candidate: A graduate student or academic researcher at a university with broad database subscriptions. Familiarity with Zotero is helpful but not required — the workflow is simple enough to learn in ten minutes. To be considered, your proposal must include: (1) the name of your university, (2) a list of which of the publications — NYT, WSJ, FT, The Economist, Business Insider, Bloomberg — your library confirms it covers,

As an actuarial graduate, I'm not only skilled in data entry and research as you require but also in managing complex datasets and precisely modeling financial risk. The nature of my work makes me meticulous and detail oriented - a strong suit for this project. Even though my skill set includes coding with Python and R, I also have extensive experience working with Excel, similar to your needs. Prior internships have given me first-hand experience with real-life business scenarios where accurate data entry, proper manipulation, and scenario analytics play crucial roles. This understanding further complements your requirement of the full licensed text since it requires legitimate library access to retrieve the complete article content. Though I don't fulfill your mandatory requirement of holding a current university library subscription to all the publications mentioned, I assure you that I can pick up any new tools or systems, like Zotero, rapidly. My proactive approach will surely allow me to overcome any minor hiccups that may arise. Plus being located in Australia gives me an edge in terms of time zone for initiating the work sooner in your day. So if you're looking for someone who can ensure clean outputs by manually accessing and entering full-text articles from various paywalled publications into Zotero in a well-curated manner, I'm your ideal choice. Let's get started on streamlining your library system today!

Hello, I am interested in supporting your project. I am a verified freelancer with strong experience in academic research, literature organization, and detail-oriented document handling. I understand this is a manual research task requiring legitimate university-library access and careful work inside a shared Zotero library. The priority is accuracy: opening each saved URL, accessing the full licensed article text, and attaching a complete, clean Zotero Note without omissions, truncation, or paraphrasing. I am comfortable working directly in shared Zotero libraries and following a systematic workflow across large collections. I understand the importance of maintaining consistency across all entries and documenting inaccessible or removed sources clearly. I can help with: • Reviewing each Zotero entry individually • Accessing full article text through available institutional resources • Adding complete article text as organized Zotero Notes • Maintaining clean formatting and consistency • Logging inaccessible/dead links for review Before proceeding, I can confirm available access coverage and discuss expected turnaround based on the final entry count and accessibility rate. I value precision, organization, and reliable communication throughout research-intensive projects. Kind regards,

I recently completed a project extracting full texts from subscription-based journals, which significantly improved research efficiency and simplified access to paywalled content within Zotero. I am new to Freelancer but have experience on large scale projects involving academic and corporate research, collaborating indirectly with teams linked to Microsoft and Google. My university provides full access to NYT, WSJ, FT, The Economist, Business Insider, and Bloomberg through its library subscriptions. I understand you need clean, complete article texts attached as notes inside a shared Zotero collection, accessed legitimately via university library subscriptions, avoiding any automation or scraping methods. I focus on delivering work with clarity, structure, and precision, ensuring all content is accurately transcribed from legit sources without shortcuts or complexity. I am ready to start promptly and handle this manual research diligently. If this aligns with your project, feel free to reach out to discuss scope and pricing. Regards Patrick
