So the manual opens with the boring step nobody puts first, route the side income into a second free checking account, and after that both of your chapters get shorter. Income becomes one table with date, source, amount, and which deposit it landed in. Expenses become a receipt photo, a category, a fifteen minute review on the last Sunday of the month, and a flag column for the purchases that were half classroom and half home.
