Print & EPUB Book Formatting

I need my 325-page non-fiction manuscript professionally laid out for both ePub and IngramSpark print. The final trim size is 5.5 × 8.5 inches and the body text must be set in Palatino, so every paragraph, heading, footnote, and running header should respect that style choice. Inside the file you will find 27 images and 30 tables/diagrams. Most graphics are already grayscale, but a handful remain in colour; please convert those to clean black-and-white without losing legibility. All images and tables have to be resized—not split—to sit comfortably inside the 5.5 × 8.5 page without crowding the margins or forcing awkward page breaks. Once layout is complete I’ll need: • A print-ready PDF that passes IngramSpark’s pre-flight checks (bleed, margins, embedded fonts, CMYK conversions, etc.). • A well-tagged, reflowable EPUB that displays the images and tables at appropriate breakpoints and keeps internal links, table of contents, and metadata intact. • The working source file (InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or another industry-standard format) so minor future tweaks are possible. Please take care to: – Keep figure and table numbering consistent with the manuscript’s cross-references. – Preserve typographic niceties: no orphans/widows, balanced spreads, and proper em-dash/en-dash usage. – Run a final spell-check after importing the text to catch any layout-induced issues.
