Children’s Book Cartoon Illustrator

I run a small but quickly growing publishing house, and I’m searching for an illustrator who can bring our next series of picture-books to life in a bright, cartoonish style. The stories span gentle animal adventures, light-hearted fairy-tale twists, and scenes from everyday life, all written for children between birth and seven years old, so the drawings must be friendly, simple to “read,” and packed with charm. Here’s what I’m hoping you can handle for each title: • Full-colour spreads and spot illustrations that fit the final trim size (print + Kindle KDP) • A vibrant front cover design • Layered source files (PSD, AI, or Procreate) plus high-resolution PDFs/PNGs ready for press • Rough thumbnails or a storyboard up-front so we can lock pacing before you move to clean artwork I typically work in milestones, first character sketches, then storyboard, then final art, so feedback is clear and turnaround stays brisk. If you prefer tools other than Adobe Illustrator or Procreate, just let me know; I’m flexible as long as the output is print-ready and CMYK correct. This is intended to be an ongoing collaboration.
