Creative Video Editor for Music Brand

About the Project I'm building my brand online around music production and synthesizers. I need a skilled editor who can craft engaging short-form and long-form content that showcases the creative process — not just the final result. The edits are everything here. I want content that holds attention and reflects the craft. This is a long-term collaboration. We will start with an initial milestone and release further milestones as the project progresses and we establish a strong working relationship. Deliverables 10 x Short-Form Videos (YouTube Shorts / Reels) Up to 45 seconds each (some may be shorter) Style reference: [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] Similar style to these references but with elevated, visually striking effects — creative transitions, motion graphics, and visual elements that complement the music and production process Hook-driven, fast-paced editing Captions, music sync, and sound design required Rate: $75 per video 3 x Long-Form Videos (YouTube) Process-focused, cinematic storytelling that showcases how music and sounds are created Style reference: [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] Not exact replicas — use these as a guide for tone, pacing, and how the creative process is presented Colour grading, narrative pacing, and music selection are critical Rate: $325 per video Total initial project value: $1,725 (However, I can and will go up if experience warrants it) How Milestones Work Milestone 1: 3 Shorts + 1 Long-Form video — this is where we establish the style, tone, and workflow Milestone 2: 4 Shorts + 1 Long-Form video — released upon approval of Milestone 1 Milestone 3: 3 Shorts + 1 Long-Form video — released upon approval of Milestone 2 Each milestone will be reviewed and approved before the next is released Beyond this initial project, there is strong potential for continued work as the brand grows What I'm Looking For; Experience editing music, production, or creative process content Strong understanding of short-form retention — hooks, pacing, pattern breaks Proficient in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve — After Effects experience a plus for visual effects work Able to handle captions, colour grading, sound design, music sync, and motion graphics Proactive communicator — updates without being chased Available for up to 2 rounds of revisions per video Portfolio of relevant work required — applications without examples will not be considered
