My proposed airframe is a fixed-wing VTOL blended platform in the 1.8–2.2 m wingspan class — CFRP monocoque fuselage, folding lift rotors for urban hover, and fixed-wing cruise for rural endurance. All-up weight targeting 4.5–5.5 kg with an 800 g payload margin. Electric is the right propulsion architecture — lighter, simpler, and fully urban-airspace compatible. A ~900–1,100 Wh Li-ion pack delivers 65–90 minutes loiter and 30–45 km radius. If your requirement pushes beyond 90 minutes, hybrid becomes the justified call at 3–4 hour endurance and 90–120 km radius. That one number drives the decision.
