There is one HeyGen detail that matters specifically for this kiosk. HeyGen has moved Interactive Avatar into its newer LiveAvatar product. The older Streaming Avatar SDK is now deprecated for new projects. For new integrations, HeyGen recommends the current LiveAvatar SDK. More importantly, Arabic needs a slightly different integration path. HeyGen recommends Lite mode with your own ASR and TTS for languages. That gives us more control over Arabic voice quality and response time. It also avoids locking the kiosk to one speech provider long-term. Another detail is easy to miss inside the local-kiosk requirement. LiveAvatar streams through WebRTC, so the live avatar remains cloud-based. The kiosk itself can run locally, but the live avatar cannot be offline. I would design that boundary correctly before building the kiosk UI. My existing kiosk work makes this particularly relevant to your scope. Drivingo included kiosk promos, device logs and remote reload controls. I also built an Android kiosk system with supporting web services. I have also implemented kiosk ticket booking for Mysuru Zoo. So I can handle the kiosk layer as well as the HeyGen integration. The admin panel can expose session, device and network diagnostics. That architecture also gives us a better shot at sub-second response.
