What you need isn't a voice changer — it's real-time speech-to-speech voice conversion. A pitch/formant changer (what most "voice software" is) can't reconstruct your identity, which is exactly why those results felt unnatural. The correct approach trains a model on your voice and converts the agent's live speech into your timbre while keeping their words, timing, and emotion. Voice model: RVC / Seed-VC trained on 15–30 min of your clean audio (self-hosted on a GPU for cost and latency control), or ElevenLabs/Respeecher speech-to-speech if you prefer a managed API. Call bridge: FreeSWITCH/Asterisk or Twilio Media Streams to route the agent's audio through the converter and back into the customer leg. Real-time? Yes. Realistic end-to-end (mouth-to-ear) is ~300–700 ms depending on your phone path. Conversion itself is ~100–300 ms on a GPU; the rest is telephony. I won't promise "zero latency over any line" — no honest engineer can. Quality: Very natural for normal speech; some artifacts on laughter, overlap, and noisy environments. We design around that.
