Basement Dehumidifier Ceiling Install

I’m ready to get a new whole-room dehumidifier up and running in my partially finished basement. All the core materials are already here—about ten feet of flex duct for each side of the unit, mastic, and a pulley-style ceiling hanging kit—so the job is primarily about a clean, safe installation. What I need from you: • Securely hang the dehumidifier from the ceiling joists using the supplied pulley kit, making sure it is level and easy to lower for future servicing. • Create a simple closed-loop air path with the flex duct, keeping runs as straight as possible and sealing every joint with the mastic provided. • Install dehumifier in unfinished area of basement with easy access to exising hvac drains. Install a plug on dedicated 15 amp circuit, breaker location approximately 30 feet with drop ceiling access. Acceptance will be based on a stable mount, airtight duct connections with no detectable leaks, and a neatly wired outlet that meets code. If you have HVAC or electrical certification it’s a plus, but solid experience with similar installs is what matters most.
