We are building a web page to help people get hold of products that make them feel at home to raise money for a charity we are establishing.
Our designer has produced a graphic displaying a map of the world, we would like someone to design a web site around this. (graphic to be divided like the graphic at [url removed, login to view])
The initial image will be the web page displaying the map with a title reading "Where are you from?", the user then selects a general area of the world i.e. south Africa, the title then changes to read "Where are you now?", again the user selects an area i.e. Europe.
The page then fades dark and a selection box appears highlighted in the centre saying "please refine your selection:" underneath there is text with two drop down selection boxes:
I want to bring a piece of "Select your county in southern Africa" too "Select the country in Europe"
The user then makes the selection, i.e. I want to bring a piece of "South Africa" too "England", a button appears below reading "Bring me home". On clicking this button they are taken to a specified url ending with "/South_Africa/[url removed, login to view]"
The code must be fully annotated.
The target web page should be web 2.0 compliant allowing a VERY simple form data entry, and VERY simple rating entry - further details will be given on acceptance of bid.
We would prefer coders to use XHTML 1.1 Strict (or reasonably close to strict!), but transitional XHTML would also be acceptable.
The resulting web page should have a feedback form with the following fields-
Email - 1 line of text
What is missing - 2 lines of text
Extra information - four lines of text
That should email us the details of the product they are missing
When they navigate to their chosen page a call to the database should be made to bring up the relevant products and there should be stars next the the product for the provider to be rated. (Very simple php)
A tool should be provided to us for data entry of-
Rating Reset - yes or no
Notes for us
If you could please give us an estimated cost and timescale we would be very grateful.
