Ajax/Ruby on Rails shopping cart for custom t-shirt and sticker printing site. Customers will create orders, each order containing 1 or more jobs, each job containing 1 or more line items. Line items are chosen by browsing a catalog (which must be served from a mysql db) while a specific job is active. Jobs are divided into types, each with custom parameters. An order history for the customer is also avaialbable, from which new instances of prior jobs can be made. At checkout, a summary of all jobs and their respective line items is presented, with the ability to edit line items. Cost is determined using a formula to find a base price for printing services, then applying a garment fee for the specific garments chosen. UPS rates are applied based on weight estimates, and payment is made via a secure gateway, with the gateway response being recorded. A printable version of the invoice will be available at that point, a link which will stay active for future reference. Also required is an admin view of the data, including features and fields not visible in public interface. Most notable include status fields to manage production of job. An "Express Order" option be available for client and admin use, in which line items are added with a bare-bones text only interace as opposed to the browsed catalog normally presented. Lastly, a utility will be needed to transfer existing data, schema provided. Full site with html/css showing partial functionality will be given upon job start, your full demo will need to be approved.
