Job brief
We are looking for a Lead Architect to work on our clients projects.
Responsibilities:
• Understand company needs to define system specifications
• Plan and design the structure of a technology solution
• Communicate system requirements to software development teams
• Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
• Oversee assigned programs (e.g. conduct code review) and provide guidance to team members
• Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
• Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
• Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions
• Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
Qualifications:
• Experience in AWS cloud architecture is a must
• Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Project Manager
• Hands-on experience with software development and system administration
• Understanding of strategic IT solutions
• Experience in designing microservice architecture, Service-oriented architecture, serverless technologies and traditional Monolithic architecture
• Solid knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. Node.JS, ReactJS, PHP)
• Solid experience in cloud-based Devops technologies (eg. CI/CD, IaC, CaC)
• Familiarity with various operating systems and databases (e.g. RDBMS and NoSQL)
• Capable to work in a challenging, fast-paced team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and coordination skills with ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Agile project development and management framework.
• Experience in Shopify is a HUGE advantage.
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
