I need to interface an Android tablet with an Andruino microcontroller. This may be done a few different ways.
*Add drivers to the Android tablet to support FTDI through the USB host port.
*Connect the Arduino to a serial port on the Android Tablet.
*Modify the USB interface on the Arduino Uno to look like a HID device.
*Can be implemented with any inexpensive ~$100 Android tablet.
*The arduino needs to be accessible from a user level android application.
*The arduino should be powered by the tablet.
*Any hardware modifications should be easily repeatable.
