Overview
Today, many households require a doorbell for their visitors from Delivery to Visitor. With the Covid19 situation where distancing is a concern. People are concerned over physical contact including pressing the doorbell. The proposal is to build an mobile app that utilize the visitor mobile device to initiate the bell so that the contact will be restricted to his/her device.
Specifications
This app has 2 components, Mobile Web and Native App.
Mobile Web
At the door, there will be QR code which is meant for the visitor to scan using their mobile phone which then will be presented with a mobile web application. The mobile web app allows the visitors to initiate a voice or video call with the host. Alternatively, the visitor can also leave a text message or photo if the host is not in. The mobile web app can load with banner ads.
Host Native App
The host native app will be installed on a mobile device or Tablet. This app allows the host to interact with the visitor depending if the visitor initiates a voice or video call. The app can generate a unique QR code for the door that pairs with the host app. The app has an in-purchase feature for topping up the battery.
The job includes creating the artwork for the Mobile Web App with the following screen.
Mobile Web App
One Page with 3 buttons - Video Call ,Voice Call, Leave a message
Native Mobile App
This has a window for receiving the voice or video call. It also has the capability to cancel call. The host also can use initiate a chat to give instruction to the visitor who is outside the door. Eg please leave the parcel at the doorstep. It also has an indication battery gage
The admin module
This allow the host to generate unique QR code and sent via email so the code can be printed.
There is a in-purchase function to top up credit for the battery
