Create an android service which sends live location to node socket on service start and stops it when services stops

I'm looking for android script which runs on background when the service starts and sends location to our node server on every location change. Let me share you the workflow
1.) When we click on the button it should start a service on the background and connect to our node socket(handshake)
2.) it should keep the socket connect open and send data to the same connection (emit message with co-ordinates)
3.) should be compatable with all versions of android.
4.) this should work even when the app is closed (until user clicks on stop service on the UI).
