Visual Basic and access - simple ordering programme

You are asked to design a computer system that will provide the necessary information, to enable the management of a small company to operate an efficient facility. The company assembles one product only; a pack containing a decorative artificial fir tree kit. The product is mainly used in the home and is retailed through DIY type outlets. The company has only 4 customers. The relevant data storage, manipulation and retrieval will be done using Access database program. One database will incorporate as many TABLES and QUERRIES as you require to complete the assignment. A user-friendly front-end developed in Visual Basic will provide the interface between the database and the users. ## Deliverables The following items will have unique names, that must include your personal initials or name: - database name - table names - Part numbers - Supplier IDs - Customer IDs - Employee IDs - VB Project name for info only: * Allow the user to see the ORDER BOOK for the next 12 weeks, in tabular and chart format * Determine the STOCK LEVELS for each pack part, and the number of packs that can be made from each part in stock. Display the results together with any other part relevant data * Display the details of the company employees * Provide a list of approved suppliers (2 for each part) and their details * Provide the status of the 4 customers ie. outstanding orders and customer details Info to maintain the database: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Win xp
