Job Title: API Integration Engineer (Banking Integrations) Experience: 4–5 Years Location: Gurgaon Employment Type: Part-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced API Integration Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in integrating banking APIs and financial services platforms. The ideal candidate should have successfully completed integrations with at least three major banks, preferably ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and Citi Bank, and possess strong expertise in secure API connectivity, payment processing, and banking workflows. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain integrations with banking and financial institution APIs. Implement and support API connections with ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Citi Bank, and other banking partners. Integrate payment solutions including collections, payouts, virtual accounts, account validation, and reconciliation services. Work with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, OAuth, JWT, and secure authentication protocols. Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate with bank technical teams. Ensure compliance with banking security standards and best practices. Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, and integration guides. Collaborate with product, business, and QA teams for seamless implementation. Required Skills 4–5 years of experience in API development and integration. Proven experience integrating with at least 3 banks, including: ICICI Bank Axis Bank Citi Bank Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP, and Web Services. Experience with payment gateways, banking platforms, and financial APIs. Understanding of security protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SSL/TLS, JWT, and API encryption. Experience in troubleshooting API connectivity and transaction processing issues. Proficiency in Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, or similar technologies. Experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, API Gateway, and monitoring tools. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to corporate banking, cash management, treasury, or payment products. Experience with UPI, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Virtual Accounts, and Collection APIs. Knowledge of fintech and digital banking ecosystems. Mandatory Requirement Candidate must have successfully integrated APIs with at least three banks, specifically including ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and Citi Bank, with demonstrable project experience.
