Seed signing will be done using your .PFX on the API server, correct? Will your ERP send invoice data and we generate the DGII XML in the API? For status check, should we store TrackID locally or always ask DGII? I went through your description carefully. I worked before on XML signing + API integrations with tax / billing systems, so the DGII flow looks familiar. Hi, this is Ambar Shome, I work independently but also run Shome & Associates for larger projects. I can build the DGII integration as a small REST API between your ERP/POS and DGII. ERP sends invoice → API creates XML → signs → sends → saves TrackID → status check. Simple structure, easy to maintain later. Authentication with seed + token will be cached so we don’t call DGII every time. XML will be generated from fixed templates based on e-CF type. Certificate loaded once on start, not every request. Invoices stored in local table before sending, so resend possible if DGII fails. Submission can run in background so ERP is not blocked. Responses + TrackID saved for later status check. Separate config for sandbox / production. Basic error mapping so ERP gets clean messages. No problem. Docs and endpoints I will keep simple, just what your system needs. Should rejected invoices be allowed to resend with same number, yes or no?
