Excel VBA Deepl Translation Macro

I have a bespoke Excel workbook that already contains several macros. I now need one additional routine that calls the Deepl API directly from VBA, so I can generate translated content automatically whenever a user updates the file. The macro must sit inside the existing spreadsheet, respect the current module structure, and take an API-key stored in a hidden sheet or named range. All the details are explained inside the page 7 and 8 of the attached BRD. Scope of work • The code should loop through the specific columns or rows I define (the range will be passed as a parameter or read from a config table) and send each cell’s value to Deepl. • Returned text replaces or populates the adjacent target column, leaving formulas in untouched areas intact. • Connection handling, throttling, and simple error reporting are required so the workbook never crashes if the quota is reached or the internet is down. Acceptance criteria – One click (or worksheet event) triggers a full pass that populates all necessary translations. – No hard-coded credentials; I can swap the key easily. – Clean, well-commented VBA compatible with Office 365 and Excel 2016. Please deliver the updated .xlsm file or a .bas export plus short setup notes so I can drop it straight into production. The production .xlsm file is also attached. You need to be an experienced VBA coder, with knowledge on the best API methods, so that you are available for potential upgrade and maintainance of the code. The VBA code must be properly documented with notes inserted, to ensure future maintainance.
