A Proof of Concept application focused on demonstrating the value of the solution to publishers and the user experience.
The application involves and embedded widget to be placed on publisher sites (Think NY Times, Washington Post, Vanity Fair) and work with the existing user auth systems to allow for access to specific URLs. Also required is an API through which the widget would communicate with the app server and pass/receive information.
Three account classes are required — users, publishers and admins
- Users should be able to sign up using email/password or oauth servce like Facebook or Google and access content via the widget on publisher sites
- Admins should be able to sign in, create publisher and other admin accounts and view user and publisher account lists, and the number of articles read on the platform
- Publishers should be able to login and see the number of articles read on their site
The goal is to build something that can be deployed at small scale with a number of publishers in a test scenario (a % of their traffic). Not all features for V1 will be included in the PoC.
A US or Canada based developer would be preferred but we're open to any location that can be available on a time zone between Eastern and Pacific.
In addition to the app described we will also be commissioning in a separate project 2 demo publisher sites using Strapi or some other modern headless CMS. These sites are to mimic the [[login to view URL]]([login to view URL]) and [[login to view URL]]([login to view URL]) in general appearance and have paywalls on the articles that will have the new widget integrated.
Existing user with active session: [login to view URL]
New User: [login to view URL]
