I run a lab with 8 separate pieces of equipment, each writing its test results to a local PC in Excel format. I need a lightweight, always-on service that watches those Excel files, validates every new line of data, and streams the approved values over our LAN to one central server. On that server I want a browser-based MES dashboard that shows every equipment’s live feed and historical records, while enforcing three clear roles: Admin, User, and Guest. The data also has to reach our LIMS. A scheduled job should call the LIMS API at set intervals, package the latest validated records, and push them automatically; a manual “send now” button on the dashboard is a useful fallback but the schedule is the primary trigger.
