This is a phone-based role. Your day is spent calling business owners and booking qualified appointments. If you're not comfortable on the phone, this isn't the right fit - but read on, because this is more than just dialing numbers. Here's how we see it: a lot of good business owners are stuck. They've built something real, but their growth has stalled and they can't find the accelerant to get to the next level. We are that accelerant - we manage ads with a focus on real sales results, not just leads. The problem is, most of these owners don't even know help like ours exists. That's where you come in. We don't see appointment-setting as "selling at" people. We see it as opening a door - getting a stuck owner into a conversation that could be the thing that finally gets their business moving again. If you believe a great service is worth telling people about, and that the right call at the right time genuinely helps someone, you'll do well here. We're a growing ad-management agency. The founder is an experienced, professional closer, so the appointments you book are in capable hands. You open the door; he helps them walk through it. You set the meeting; the closer takes it from there. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Research and find the right prospects - business owners whose growth has stalled and who'd genuinely benefit from an accelerant. - Call them. Have a real conversation, show them there's a way forward, and book a meeting worth taking. - Keep clear notes on what each owner is trying to grow toward, so the closer walks in informed. - Take pride in the door you're opening - and keep the calendar full. You are NOT closing, account managing, or writing reports. You set well-qualified appointments. That's the job. THE FIRST 5 DAYS: A PAID PROVING PERIOD Belief is great, but this job is also about results - so we want you to show us. - A short PAID trial at the base rate below. - The goal: source your own leads and book 1-3 genuinely qualified appointments in your first 5 days. - Do that, and we set you up properly - warm lead lists, training, and steady ongoing hours. Paid from day one - not spec work. Just a chance to show how you open doors. PAY - Base: $2-3/hr (depending on experience), paid for all hours worked, trial included. - Bonus: $200 for every new retainer-level client you booked that gets closed. Your hourly covers the work you control; the $200 bonus is your upside when a meeting you set up becomes a client whose business you helped move forward. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - A confident, warm phone presence. Non-negotiable. - Outbound / appointment-setting experience, ideally B2B. - Someone who genuinely believes that connecting an owner to the right help is a service, not a nuisance. - Able to frame the conversation around the owner's growth, not a pitch. - Organized, reliable, and honest with your numbers. DETAILS - Part-time to start (20 hrs/week), with room to grow after the trial period - Flexible schedule, Vancouver time zone (Mon-Fri). Remote. TO APPLY - PLEASE ANSWER THESE TWO QUESTIONS (applications without them are ignored): 1. In 3-4 sentences, how would you open a cold call to a business owner whose growth has stalled, and get them to agree to a meeting? I want your real approach. 2. Do you believe selling can be a way of helping people? Tell me why, in a few sentences. Also include a one-line summary of your outbound/appointment-setting experience.

With over 10 years of experience in virtual assistance and sales, I have been continuously evolving and diversifying my skills to deliver unmatched results. I have a deep understanding of B2B sales methodologies and have developed a unique approach that highlights the value of the service being offered while catering to the specific needs of each business owner. For an appointment setting role as yours, I find it important to convey genuine care for their businesses rather than pushing a pitch. To captivate the attention of a business owner whose growth has stalled, my opening would be to acknowledge their hard work while subtly introducing your game-changing services that can help take their ventures to exponential heights. This authentic approach builds rapport and sets the stage for a conversation centered on how you can be an accelerant to positive change in their bottom-line numbers.

Remote B2B specialist experienced in outbound cold calling, finding targeted leads, and tracking data in CRMs to book appointments. 1. Cold Call Opening Script:"Hi [Name], I’ll be quick. I checked your digital presence and it's clear you've built a solid foundation, but your growth seems to have hit a plateau. We focus strictly on sales-results ad management to act as an accelerant, helping businesses break through those blocks and win back their local market. I am not selling anything today; I just want to see if you have 10 minutes open this Thursday at 2:00 PM or Friday morning to look at some market data to help you get unstuck. Which day works better?"2. Do you believe selling can be a way of helping people? Yes. Coming from a healthcare background as a Registered Nurse, I see ethical sales just like patient care: it is about finding a problem, offering the right remedy, and guiding someone toward a better outcome. When an owner is stuck, reaching out to offer a proven growth accelerant is a vital service that helps their hard work succeed. Why I fit your 5-Day Trial:I Find My Own Leads: I use Google and LinkedIn to research and find local business owners who are plateaued so my calls target people we can actually help. Detailed CRM Notes: I log clear tracking data and notes on what each owner wants to grow toward, giving your closer the perfect setup. Ready for Your Hours: I work from a quiet home office and can start immediately on Vancouver time (PST).

Hello, I’m interested in this opportunity because I enjoy communicating with business owners and helping them discover solutions that can genuinely grow their business. I’m confident on calls, comfortable speaking with new people, and able to build natural conversations instead of sounding scripted. 1. My approach to a cold call is simple and respectful. I’d first introduce myself briefly, mention why I’m calling, and ask a quick question about how business has been going recently. Then I’d focus on understanding where they want growth and mention how your agency helps businesses improve real sales results, not just leads. If they show interest, I’d position the meeting as a short conversation to explore opportunities rather than a hard sales pitch. 2. Yes, I believe selling can absolutely help people. A good service or solution can save time, increase growth, and solve real business problems. When you truly believe in what you’re offering, selling becomes about helping someone move forward instead of just convincing them to buy something. Experience Summary: Experience with communication, customer interaction, online outreach, and appointment coordination with strong confidence on phone conversations. Thank you for considering my application. I’m ready to start immediately and prove myself during the trial period.

Yes, I do believe selling can be a way of helping people. If you genuinely believe in the service you’re offering and it can solve a real problem for someone, then connecting them to that solution is valuable. I think the wrong kind of selling feels pushy, but the right kind is about understanding needs and opening doors to opportunities people may not have known existed.

I don't believe in interrupting business owners with a pitch; I believe in interrupting their cycle of stagnation with a solution. I understand that your agency isn't just selling ad management—you are providing the leverage these owners are desperate for to reach their next milestone. I am looking for a long-term role where I can use my experience to open doors that owners didn't know were available. 1. Cold Call Opening: 'Hi Sully, I’m calling because I’ve been researching your business and I see a lot of potential in what you’ve built, but it looks like you’ve hit a growth ceiling that’s proving difficult to break through. I’m not calling to sell you a service, but I’ve helped similar owners get unstuck, and I’d like to see if our approach could do the same for you. Do you have 15 minutes later this week to talk about what’s holding your growth back?' 2. Is Selling a Way of Helping? Absolutely. Selling is simply the process of identifying a genuine problem and providing the bridge to a solution that the person might not have found on their own. When the product is truly valuable, a 'sale' is just a formal agreement to help someone improve their situation, which is why I take such pride in the quality of the meetings I book. Experience Summary: I have 3 years of B2B outbound experience with a consistent track record of qualifying high-intent appointments by focusing on pain-point discovery over scripting.

Hi, I can confidently take on this appointment-setting role and have prior experience in outbound B2B calling where the focus was on starting real conversations with business owners, understanding their challenges, and booking qualified meetings rather than pushing a hard sales pitch. If I were opening a cold call, I would keep it respectful, direct, and focused on their situation: I’d quickly introduce myself, mention I work with businesses helping them improve growth through better ad performance, and ask a simple, non-intrusive question like “Are you currently satisfied with how your current marketing is translating into actual sales growth?” From there, I’d listen first, briefly relate to their situation, and only then suggest a short conversation with the closer if it genuinely seems relevant. The goal would be to make it feel like a useful opportunity, not an interruption. Yes, I do believe selling can absolutely be a form of helping people when it’s done correctly. If a business owner is stuck or not aware of better solutions, a well-timed call can introduce them to something that genuinely improves their situation. In that sense, it’s not about pressure—it’s about connecting the right problem with the right solution at the right time. One-line experience: Outbound appointment setter with experience in B2B lead qualification and booking discovery calls for service-based businesses. Best Regards, Fizza

1. Hi , hope I’m not catching you at a bad time. The reason for my call is that I speak with a lot of business owners who already have a great business but feel like growth has slowed down or become harder to predict lately. I’d love to hear how things have been on your side and see if there may be an opportunity for us to help you bring in more consistent results through strategies that are already working for similar businesses. If you’re open to it, I’d be happy to arrange a quick, relaxed conversation with our specialist no pressure, just a chance to explore what’s possible for your business. 2. Yes, I do. I believe selling is really about understanding someone’s needs and connecting them with a solution that can genuinely improve their situation or help them reach their goals. When done honestly and professionally, it shouldn’t feel pushy it should feel like having a helpful conversation that creates value for both sides. I think people appreciate being introduced to opportunities or services that can save them time, increase growth, or solve a problem they’ve been struggling with.

15+ months of B2B cold calling and appointment setting at W4Work - outbound calls, warm lead follow-ups, and booking qualified meetings daily. Answer 1: I'd open with something like: "Hi John, hope you're doing great. I'm not trying to sell you anything today, I actually came across your business and noticed something that might be worth a quick conversation. You got 2 minutes?" From there I listen more than I talk. Most owners open up immediately because nobody asks about their growth, they just pitch at them. Once they're talking, I position the meeting as the next natural step, not a sales call. Answer 2: Absolutely and I've seen it firsthand. At W4Work, the calls I felt best about weren't the ones I pushed hardest on. They were the ones where the owner actually needed what we had and I connected them to it and if the fit is real, booking that meeting is genuinely doing someone a favour.
