I’m ready to turn my completed design for a 240 sq ft one-bedroom apartment into a fully permitted reality on my single-story home in St Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida, USA. I’m looking for an architect who can take my finished layout and develop the construction plans and documents the city will accept for a rental unit. The job centres on translating my drawings into a permit set that satisfies the current Florida Building Code as well as local zoning and flood-zone regulations. Because the space will operate as a separate rental, the plans must clearly address ingress/egress, fire separation, sound attenuation, HVAC, plumbing, and dedicated electrical service.
