When a value is high enough from the mpu6050 chip I need to actuate a solenoid that presses a button on a piston. I will need a virtual realization of the chips inputs on arduino IDE referenced here ... [login to view URL] . I am making a helmet with a piston attached to the helmet to dampen the impact of a collusion. The piston will dampen when the accelerometer and gyro in the mpu6050 reach a high enough value. I believe this python script will take 2 business days. I value getting the information from the chip as fast as possible. If you can think of a better way to code this software please inform me. Hello, My graduation project was about mpu6050. I can use it perfect with Arduino and connect it to the piston. My question is why are you using Python? Cannot you use Arduino?
