Looking for some help with smart batteries and SMBUS standard. Trying to replicate a smart battery and the SMBUS connectivity with a µC.
I'm using battery packs from the company RRC Power Solutions and I bought their power management module RRC-PMM240 to charge the battery packs. My desire is to develop a Smart Battery Emulator, which pretends to be a Smart Battery. The emulator should interact with the SMBUS compliant power management module and should change values, such as voltage or current, in order to check the functionality of the charger.
This project should be done on a STM32 or an Arduino and implement the functionality of a smart battery
