It must have a thesis and it must be defended by an analysis of the text of the story.
When choosing a thesis you need to consider how the narrator, point of view, symbolism, structure, characters and/or plot contribute to the meaning of the story. Stick to one of this elements and do not make the essay very broad, keep it on track with your thesis.
You need to identify naturalistic and or realistic elements. Also you could analyze the context of the story, compare characters or analyze the theme. You decide.
Must have a proper introduction and conclusion.
Language: US English. With proper grammas and spelling (No mistakes).
Sources: At least 3 external sources (besides the story itself) about the story and the author.
Style: MLA for everything (typing, references, etc)
Must include Works Cited Page!
Must include correct MLA citations to books, articles, documents, etc in every paragraph.
Communication: You must let us know about your progress.
