I taught cooking classes for men at local high school last spring. I started to develop a website but I couldn't get it together in time for the class. I have the domain name, purchased an eBay website then had someone else create a joomla site. I'm not happy with either. The site has no content. I'm looking for a ghostwriter/researcher for the site.
I have culinary degree, CDM and run he dietary department for a retirement community. The class was very successful. The students had various reasons for attending the class. One fellow wanted to learn to cook for his kids since he and his wife worked strange hours. Another had a wife who was getting up in years and he needed to cook for her. I have class notes and recipes that I can load to the site but it lacks content. In any event I read your profile and thought you might be interested in the project.
I have a few ideas but I'd first like to know if you're interested in the project. Below is the copy that appeared in the flyer for class last spring. I hope to hear from you.
Cooking for Men
In spite of there being so many male chefs in the world, most guys have the reputation of being poor or disinterested cooks. Fast food, pizza, take out Chinese, wives and girlfriends contribute to the lack of experience in the kitchen. In this class you will learn the basics. Part demonstration, part hands on, we will cover knife skills, soups and sauces, entrees, side dishes and desserts. By the end of the course attendees will have acquired the skills and confidence necessary to prepare great meals.
