How to overcoming sleepless nightmares


As much as food and water is important in life so is sleep. In our daily life we should have a routine of sleeping minimum 6 hrs to max nine hours. We need quality of sleep and if we don't get quality sleep we end up with health hazards like stress, lack of concentration, headache, memory problems.

Sleep is more important for our brain to function, including how nerve cells communicate with each other. Even when we sleep our brain is active while our body is at rest. Sleep enabled to rejuvenate and keep us refreshed when we wake up.

My experience on sleep.

When I was a child I used to get good sleep because our days were packed with activities. As I grew up the pattern of sleep got effected because of attachment to television more than being active with the things that I needed to do. As years passed by after my studies I began to work and during this time the fear factor of performance and uneasiness when I used to rise up the next day effected my performance.

A quick nap I wish I had every time

The few things that I observed was in the afternoon I used to feel dowse and if I got a chance to take nap.

While traveling in bus due to the cold wind blowing I used to get quick sleep but as I was traveling I used to avoid sleep. While returning from work back home when you catch up bus or in the transport I used to fell sleepy.

These are the times when I would go fast a sleep.

A nightmare to catch up sleep in the night.

In the night for me to get sleep fast was a challenge and that's when my thought life got effected as we keep trying different things in order to get to sleep fast and now I still go though the same experience but I'm more relaxed in facing it and being calm at peace and I also learned to clear my thoughts.

Lack of sleep

For me A lack of sleep in the night irritate most. I wish I get a good sleep but some times it's a nightmare as I cannot get good sleep. There are times when I get sleep but I wake up in between and a sleep is wrecked. This has been regular in past and this thing begins to effect in the day with as I wasn't getting refreshed. I ended up trying figuring how to get sleep.

When I suffer with such problem I began to create some important things which would help me get back to sleep.

Few activities that I created was

1> I started reading habit

2> I began to listen to talks or listen to music.

3> I begin watching YouTube

4> I would just be quite and take deep breath

5> I began to clear my thought process

6> I begin to go blank and focus on being calm at peace not worrying.

7> Exercise may also enable to get your self tired.

8> I began to get busy loaded with activities that would help me to get rest.

9> I always made sure if I used to a reading I would step out of the bed and go to the desk and start start reading there some books.

10> I began to meditation or keep reciting key promised till I used to get sleep.

Most people get into the habit of taking pills but my advice is to avoid sleeping pill. Sleeping pills cause health effects. Sleeping pills is not the remedy or the solution to the problems nor worrying is the result of solving problems in order to get good sleep.
