We have a number of booklets/articles that have been translated into Portuguese, but need to be proofed and edited for grammar, spelling, punctuation and mechanics. The stylistic guidelines we use generally follow those of O Estado de São Paulo, as stipulated in that reference style book. Our first project is a book of approximately 320 pages that needs to be reviewed. If this project is done successfully, then there could follow a number of other books and booklets to be reviewed.
There should be no change in the content of what has been translated, only in cases where there might be some typographical error. However, the project really consists of just reviewing the material to ensure that it generally follows the spelling, mechanical, and stylistic guidelines laid out in the style book of O Estado de São Paulo. The content of the material for this book is general instruction with religious themes. There is no technical language involved.
