The Project is CMS designed specifically to publish HR documents. The system is made of three modules: e-Policymaker, e-Procedure maker and e-Job Describer. Publishing HR documents is done through the use of pre designed templates, which are a standard way for entering HR documents.
e-Policymaker is a module in The project that is responsible for publishing HR and other company policies. The system generates a table of content similar to that in a paper company policy. The table of contents shows the different policies of the company that the user may view by clicking on the document link.
Policies are authored through standard templates that list the common fields of a policy document. The user may choose from different templates depending on the kind of policy being entered.
e-Procedure maker is similar to e-Policymaker, except in one aspect. It features different kinds of templates that are designed to handle procedures.
The e-Job describer allows the organization to draw its organization chart online, and then populate it with job descriptions. The organization chart is analogous to the table of contents in e-Policymaker, and job description is similar to policy documents.
All three modules are part of the The project system. However they may be sold separately.
The three modules are interrelated:
• Policies may have related procedures that explain how the policy is implemented, and vice versa.
• Policies may apply to specific job descriptions.
• Policies may be the responsibility of specific job descriptions to carry them out.
These relationships are only visible when the involved products in the relationships are purchased.
