Hello, For a 3–4 member live band, the priority is getting the vocal microphones, instruments, monitors, and overall mix balanced before the performance starts, then keeping everything stable throughout the event. With a private event in Oxfordshire (OX10), will the venue’s sound system already be available, or will the engineer need to bring the PA and microphones as well? The workflow would begin with a full soundcheck, gain staging each microphone and instrument, setting EQ and monitor levels, checking cables and signal paths, and ensuring the PA provides clear coverage without feedback. During the performance, I would actively monitor the mix, make quick adjustments between songs or as the band changes dynamics, and troubleshoot any technical issue immediately so the event can continue smoothly. I’d be happy to discuss the exact equipment and stage setup first and, where possible, confirm the requirements before the event. I’ll make sure the setup is properly tested ahead of the performance and remain available for adjustments throughout the show.
