I need a skilled embedded systems engineer to integrate the VS1010 for audio playback and recording in an embedded system. The VS1010 should specifically support WAV file format. Key Requirements: - Implement VS1010 for WAV audio playback - Integrate into an embedded system Ideal Skills and Experience: - Experience with VS1010 and audio processing - Strong embedded systems development background - Proficiency in handling WAV audio files The VS1010 will be integrated on our board, and will be handled by us. All communications will be using the serial \SPI port. Here is a brief description. System will be interfaced to the processor using the control serial \SPI port, and the vocabulary will be stored on an SD card. The processor will request a word to be played from a specific location on the SD card. The VS1010 will set an activity line using one of the GPIO lines when the playback is active and clear when inactive. In addition the processor will command the VS1010 to begin recording at a specific storage location on the same SD card specified by the processor. The VS1010 will set a GPIO line indicating recording active. An erase command to erase a specific tract will be supported. In addition I would like the VS1010, when not playing or recording to be capable of, on command, generate a one or two tone audio output with programmed frequency\amplitude\duration. These are basic functions and available from the [login to view URL] support site. The program to run this will also be stored on the SD card and\or on the included flash memory. Commands for Play, Record, Erase, and volume levels are required at a minimum. A VS1010 Development is required for this project, company will provide developer if needed.
