I oversee a portfolio of commercial landscaping builds and upgrades and need precise estimating support for upcoming bids and active projects. Your role is to turn architectural/site plans into three clear deliverables: • A line-item cost estimate that includes labor, equipment, overhead and profit • A material take-off sheet with quantities and supplier pricing references • A realistic work schedule outlining start-to-finish durations, crews required and critical milestones Labor costs must be calculated, not left as placeholders, so that the final number reflects true field conditions. Accuracy on plant counts, hardscape square footage, irrigation components and any specialty features is essential, as these directly feed my bid submissions and project cash-flow forecasts. I typically share PDF plans plus scope notes; you can work in Excel, PlanSwift, Bluebeam or similar—whatever lets you give me transparent formulas and traceable quantities. Turnaround on most packages is five business days unless otherwise discussed. Before we begin, I will send one smaller project so we can align on format and depth. Once that is approved, larger site packages will follow on a steady basis. Preferred someone who is in Australia already doing Estimator Contracting work.
