I’m building an AI-powered CAD tool and need a dataset of professional 2D drafting plans to train it. I’m looking for skilled drafters to create high-quality, detailed drawing sets for building systems (e.g., HVAC, piping, equipment layouts) in PDF and DWG formats. These will be used to teach my AI to generate construction-ready blueprints, so accuracy and industry-standard formatting are key.
I’m starting with a small batch—10 drawing sets—and may scale up with the right freelancer. Each set should represent a realistic building scenario (e.g., office, warehouse) and include annotations like callouts, dimensions, and title blocks. You’ll retain no rights to the work—it’s fully mine for commercial AI training purposes.
Scope of Work
Deliverables: 10 unique 2D drafting sets.
5 HVAC layouts (e.g., ductwork, vents, equipment).
5 Piping layouts (e.g., water, gas, fittings).
Details:
Each set: 1–2 sheets, showing plan views with annotations (e.g., bubbles, dimensions, notes).
Conform to ASME Y14.5 standards (or similar industry norms).
Include a title block (template provided if needed, or create a basic one).
Scenarios: Small office (2,000 sq ft), warehouse (10,000 sq ft), etc.—I’ll provide prompts if desired.
Formats: Deliver as PDF and DWG files.
Labeling: Optional bonus—label key features (e.g., “pipe,” “valve”) in a text for AI training (extra $1 per set).

Proven experience in architectural or engineering drafting (HVAC, piping, MEP, etc.).
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 or US construction standards.
Ability to deliver clean, professional, error-free drawings.
Portfolio or samples required—show me building plans you’ve done!
Budget
$10 per drawing set (10 sets = $100 total).
Bonus: +$1 per set for labeled features ($10 extra if all 10 are labeled).
Total possible: $110.
Timeline
Deadline: 2 weeks from hiring (March 28, 2025, assuming posting today, March 14, 2025).
Milestone: 5 sets by March 21, remaining 5 by March 28.
Ownership
All work is mine—I retain full rights for commercial use, including AI training. No resale or reuse by you.
