Project Description I am developing a high-performance electric scooter with motorcycle-like dynamics, intended for real-world prototype development (not a concept or cosmetic design project). This project requires a mechanical/automotive engineer with experience in vehicle chassis or frame design, not just a CAD modeler. --- ## Project Overview The goal is to design a custom frame capable of handling high speed, strong acceleration, and real-world riding conditions. Target performance: - Top speed: 110–120 km/h - Strong acceleration (wheelie capability required) - Stable and confidence-inspiring at high speeds --- ## Key Geometry Requirements - Wheel size: 14 inch (front & rear) - Wheelbase: 1350–1400 mm - Ground clearance: 160–180 mm - Seat height: 780–820 mm - Steering rake: 25–27° - Trail: 90–105 mm --- ## Powertrain Layout - Mid-drive motor (8–12 kW peak) - Battery: 72V, 80–100Ah (rectangular pack) Design must include: - Proper chain/belt alignment - Strong motor mounting structure - Battery placement (low and slightly rear-biased) - Controller placement with cooling consideration --- ## Frame Requirements - Tubular steel trellis + central spine hybrid - Designed for: - High torsional rigidity - High torque loads - Real-world manufacturability (welding, jigging, fabrication) --- ## Suspension Setup - Front: Telescopic forks - Rear: Mono-shock - Swingarm length: 480–520 mm --- ## Tire Setup - Front: 110/80-14 - Rear: 130/70-14 --- ## Deliverables - Side view CAD (with dimensions) - Top view CAD - Basic 3D model (SolidWorks preferred) - Frame structure with tube specifications - Mounting points for: - Battery - Motor - Suspension - Basic structural validation (FEA preferred) --- ## Important Notes - This is a real prototype project, not a concept design - The design must be practical and manufacturable - Preference will be given to freelancers with: - Automotive / EV / chassis experience - Past work on vehicles (motorcycles, karts, EVs, etc.) --- ## Screening Question (Must Answer) Please answer the following: 1. Hi, I'm Punithan. I paid minimum fee just to give you a really trusting heads-up. The kind of input and deliverables required cannot be done even in 30 days. (Side view, top view, tube dimensions.. i really really need a lot of data like how are you going to weld this, do you have jigs/fixtures.. i can go on for two complete days just explaining you the amount of input I need to give you a complete satisfactory output) I'm being realistic. Even reverse engineering an existing e2w will take a very considerable human effort. Battery mounting, motor mounting, swing arm design, belt selection (you want the drive train to hold up for 120kmph? If you don't get the right tolerances, trust me, you don't want anyone on that bike at such high speeds - it's a disaster waiting to happen - safety is the main reason I post to you) I don't know who this is.. but I will be more than willing to persuade and shed some light about the dynamics of vehicle design before I even bid. Finally.. just a rear seat struss design is easy - benchmarks / stripdown pictures available on internet. But let's discuss before we move ahead
