AV Support for London Screening

I’m organising a small public screening in central London and need an experienced AV freelancer who can run the technical side seamlessly from load-in to load-out. The space already has power and blackout capability; what it lacks is reliable projection and crisp, balanced sound. Here’s what I’m counting on you to handle: • Projection setup – bringing and aligning a quality projector, screen and any cabling so the picture is tack-sharp. • Microphones and PA – supplying and configuring enough mics for a brief introduction and Q&A, plus a compact speaker system that fills the room without distortion. • Show-time support – staying on site during the event to monitor levels, switch sources if needed and troubleshoot on the fly. We’ll schedule a short walk-through beforehand so you can check throw distance, rigging points and acoustics. On the night I’d like doors open an hour before we roll, giving you plenty of time for final focus, sound-check and failsafe testing. If you have your own kit, please mention the projector model, lumen rating and any mixing console you prefer; otherwise, advise me on rentals and I’ll arrange them. Experience with local London venues is a big plus, as is the ability to work neatly and pack down fast—the venue hands the room back the same evening.
