MUST be a licensed Australian structural engineer I’m preparing construction documentation for five attached townhouses and now need the structural timber layout and roof system professionally engineered. The floor system will be built around Hyjoist members, so every beam, joist and connection detail must be sized, spaced and specified with that product range in mind, following the relevant Australian Standards from start to finish (AS 1684, AS 1720, AS 1562.1 and companion codes). Roofing is to be finished in Colorbond metal sheeting, so I also need battens, tie-downs, bracing and overhangs detailed for wind design to AS 4055 and AS 1170.2. Please reflect any manufacturer requirements for the selected Colorbond profile. Key deliverables • Signed structural calculations (PDF) covering Hyjoist design, load paths and wind actions • Coordinated framing plans, elevations and connection schedules suitable for building approval (DWG + PDF) • Roof truss or rafter layout with member sizes, fixings and tie-down schedule • Brief compliance statement listing all applied Australian Standards I’ll supply anrchitectural and slab engineering prior to anwarding job. Drawings should be cleanly layered for easy integration into Revit or AutoCAD. A short hand-over call to walk through the set will complete the job.
