Marketplace/Mobility Business Consultant Needed

I’m getting ready to launch Yatra-Saathi, a structured group-travel marketplace that makes booking Tempo Travellers in India simple, transparent and fair for both riders and verified vehicle owners. The core product is live in staging; odometer-based trip verification, transparent per-kilometre pricing and owner KYC are already baked in. What I need now is an experienced consultant who has scaled two-sided mobility or travel platforms and can pressure-test every component of the business model before we open in our first city. Scope of work Over a focused engagement, you will help me validate the current assumptions, tighten the economics and design supply-side processes that stay robust as we expand city by city. Key priorities • Business-model validation – stress-test revenue streams, commission structure and per-trip unit economics; deliver an adjustable model in Excel or Sheets. • Vendor onboarding strategy – map an owner journey that minimises friction yet keeps KYC, vehicle docs and insurance checks watertight; propose SOPs and the tech stack that supports them. • Double-booking prevention – evaluate options such as real-time availability tracking, automated sync with owner calendars or fallback manual verification, then recommend the best mix for launch. • Scalable supply operations – outline the headcount, processes and SLAs required as we move from one city to the next. • Growth roadmap – create a phased city-rollout plan with acquisition targets, marketing channels and key activation metrics. Deliverables & acceptance 1. A short diagnostic report (slides or doc) highlighting gaps in the current model. 2. A financial workbook with scenario toggles covering pricing, commission tiers and incentives. 3. An operations playbook detailing onboarding flows, verification checklists and anti-double-booking logic. 4. A 6-month expansion roadmap with milestone KPIs. We’ll kick off with a deep-dive call, share existing decks, Airtable tables and Mixpanel data, then iterate weekly.
