Brand Onboarding Intern – MY BASICS Location: Mumbai / Hybrid Experience: 2–5 years Department: Business Development / Partnerships About MY BASICS MY BASICS is a home and lifestyle platform bringing products, services, interiors, quick fixes, appliances, furniture, furnishings, mattresses, rentals and home solutions into one trusted ecosystem. Role Overview We are looking for a smart and target-driven Brand Onboarding Intern to identify, approach and onboard brands, sellers, distributors and service partners across MY BASICS categories. Key Responsibilities * Identify and onboard brands, vendors and service partners across home categories. * Pitch MY BASICS to founders, sales heads, category heads and business owners. * Manage complete onboarding including catalog, pricing, margins, images, agreements and partner details. * Negotiate commissions, discounts, delivery terms, installation support and service SLAs. * Coordinate with internal teams to make partner listings live on the platform. * Maintain strong relationships with onboarded brands and partners. * Track daily pipeline, meetings, closures and active partners. * Support category growth for Mumbai launch and future expansion. Required Skills * Strong communication, sales and negotiation skills. * Experience in business development, vendor acquisition, brand onboarding or category partnerships. * Basic understanding of marketplace, e-commerce, retail or service business. * Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, CRM and follow-ups. * Self-driven, practical and comfortable working in a startup environment. Preferred Background Experience in home, furniture, appliances, interiors, building material, decor, retail, e-commerce or service marketplace will be preferred. Ideal Candidate A go-getter who can open doors, convince brands, close partnerships and execute onboarding quickly.
