My son has just completed his Bachelor’s in IT and wants to start earning by offering technical support directly to individuals. Before he dives in, we’d like to book a paid consultation with someone who has real-world experience turning technical know-how into a client-focused service. During the session I’d like to cover how to: • Position basic and advanced computer help so it appeals to non-technical clients • Price and package one-off fixes versus ongoing support • Promote services locally and online without a large advertising budget • Choose the right remote-assist and ticketing tools for a one-person operation • Handle common legal, data-privacy and documentation concerns when serving private individuals Deliverables I expect: 1. A live video or voice call (about an hour) where we can ask questions in real time. 2. A concise post-call summary with actionable next steps, helpful links, and any templates you recommend. If you have successfully built or coached a solo technical support practice for individual end-users, I’d love to hear from you.
