We are planning to launch a new product called Krill Meat (Antarctic Shrimp) in the USA . This product is currently only available for sale in the Ukraine and Russia where the Krill is brought in from the vessels and produced on land. This product has the highest digestible proteins than any other product available. The Krill market is predominantly controlled by 4 or 5 major players that focus on the highly profitable pharmacological, nutraceutical and most recently pet food market. Krill oil is highly recognized amongst global consumers as being good for your health and well being. The canned krill we are planning to market is only 15% of the total catch and the cost of processing is much less profitable than the other options listed therefore we do not anticipate any competition from these suppliers. We need a Go to Market plan for our group first with E Commerce to follow with retail supermarkets in the USA. We need guidance on our social media launch, use of influencers, food critics, professional and private chefs that would help propel the Krill to their followers. We would also like to use the success Krill products have had and present the edible krill as a healthy alternative meal. We plan to market the krill to healthy fast food chains along with supermarket Deli counters such as Whole Foods/ Trader Joe's etc. Please let me know if you have any thoughts or questions to share.
