We are a very small interactive design firm, and we are completely swamped with too much business! We need a stable of about a half dozen dependable freelance designers that we can call on an as-needed basis.
We're looking for freelance designers who do design full-time (preferably no moonlighters). An ideal person would have a good portfolio of past work, have a fluent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash (with a heavy dose of actionscript). We would also prefer that you have at least a basic knowledge of HTML and be able to write a web page with a text editor if needed (that's how we prefer to do it).
Applicants must absolutely, positively be able to meet strict deadlines on time and on budget. You'd also need a decent portfolio of past work so we can check out your style.
We typically pay $500 to $1000 for flash intros, $500 to $750 for a photoshop comp of a web design (which we would then take and build ourselves), and $500 to $750 for flash menu headers. Occasionally we will do CD-ROM and Enhanced CD work as well, and those design projects would pay about $500 per screen, with a little extra if we want to use Flash .swf files thrown in for animation sake.
The right group of people can be kept pretty busy. If you're interested, drop me a note and let's get to know each other.
